The Tanzanian Horticulture Association (TAHA) unveils plans for HortiLogistica Africa 2026, a landmark trade exhibition set to position Tanzania as the continent's premier horticulture hub this November in Arusha.
The Tanzanian Horticulture Association (TAHA), in partnership with the President's Office, Planning and Investment (PoPI) and the Government of Tanzania through the Ministry of Agriculture, has officially announced the inaugural HortiLogistica Africa 2026 trade fair. The event, scheduled for 8–10 November 2026 at Ngurdoto Mountain Lodge in Arusha, will be the continent's largest dedicated platform for fresh produce, horticulture, and agri-logistics.
HortiLogistica Africa is the first event of its kind on the African continent — a dedicated B2B trade fair and conference combining exhibition halls, a hosted buyer programme, an investment forum, and a multi-track conference programme. The inaugural edition is expected to attract over 12,000 trade professionals from more than 40 countries.
Dr. Jacqueline Mkindi, CEO of TAHA, described the event as a transformational platform for African horticulture. 'We are not just organising a trade fair — we are building a permanent institution that will serve Africa's horticulture sector for decades. Tanzania is the right place, and now is the right time,' she said at the announcement press conference in Dar es Salaam.
Exhibitor registration and visitor pre-registration are now open. Early bird stand packages are available until 30 June 2026. International buyers interested in the Hosted Buyer Programme should apply through the event website.
